Plateau Busters

These are the Plateau Busters that I have tried and find most effective.

Six Apples a Day will

Keep the Fat Lady Away

This is one that I learned while on the evil HCG diet. It totally works! What you do is only eat six apples for one entire day: Two for breakfast, two for lunch and two for dinner. Then the next morning you should have lost between 1 and 2 lbs. Just a warning... It never, ever worked for me two days in a row.

Apples and Cheese, Please!

Want an extra treat on your apple day?  Add 6 oz of cheese to that baby!  So eat your 6 apples, but add 6 oz of cheese.  Example:  Breakfast 2 apples and 2 oz of cheese, repeat for lunch and dinner.  It doesn't matter what kind of cheese you eat.  I personally like the pepper jack cheese because it makes my mouth happy.  Does not work 2 days in a row.

Steak and Apple Day

Will Shed Two Pounds Away!

This one is super de dooper (yes I watch Barney with my kids) this plateau buster is an "almost for sure" 2lb loss, but it is hard... really, really hard.  You go all day only drinking water.  Then for dinner you have a GIANT steak.  I mean eat a big one.  If you are like me you will have no problem choking down a 16 ouncer.  Do not use steak sauce, only seasonings.  This will not work two days in a row.  I did this a lot in between rounds of the HCG diet.  The HCG diet actually suggests this.

The Incredible, Eatable Egg

What you do on this day is eat 6 eggs during the coarse of the day.  2 for breakfast, 2 for lunch and 2 for dinner.  Hard boil, soft boil, scramble, poach or fry it is up to you.  Do not, I say do not cook in bacon grease or butter.  Use good old Pam.  Does not work 2 days in a row.

Shrink-a-Dink's Four Month

Weight Watcher's Plateau Buster

Eat only 19 points a day and Exercise, simple as that.  I know it is hard, but if you are like me and are sick of not losing weight when you are exercising and sticking to a diet like glue, it is WORTH it!
